Worth seeing Meran
Meran is only a few kilometers from Schenna. The spa town is one of the most beautiful cities of the Alps. In the old town there are hundreds of shops, bars and restaurants. Highlights are the Jugendstil palace “Kurhaus” and the modernly designed spa resort “Therme Meran”.Really rewarding are walks on the many promenades in and around Meran. They are lovely arranged with a lot of flowers and trees. There are: Passer Promenade, Winter Promenade, Summer Promenade and Gilf Promenade and last but not least the Sissi Path which leads directly to the Botanic Garden of Trauttmansdorff Castle.
